1. If you say that the 2024 presidential election is the most important election of our lifetime, do you then recant your claims that the 2016 and 2020 elections were the most important elections of our lifetime, and thereby apologize for being wrong?
2. Is it acceptable for presidential candidates or sitting presidents whom you support to disparage political opponents and claim executive authority whenever it suits them, or is it wrong for all presidents and all candidates?
3. For every time you wince at something President Biden says, and afterwards slander him, do you pray for him?
4. For every time you wince at something former President Trump says, and afterwards slander him, do you pray for him?
5. Do you ever take the time to study the records of the candidates for public office, or do you simply dismiss them all with the wave of a hand, believing whatever you heard about them on Twitter/X or Facebook?
6. Have you committed to pray regularly for whoever wins local, state, and national races this November?
7. Have you remembered to consider who you might vote for this year in congressional and local races, including school board and county council races?
8. Have you made an intentional effort to reach out to and cultivate a relationship with someone who you know disagrees with you politically?
9. Do you read and meditate on Scripture and pray for civic guidance nearly as often as you’ve spent reading or watching political coverage?
10. Has the condition of our country caused you to evangelize and pray more, or simply assume if your preferred candidates don’t win, that the world will virtually end?
